Friday was a brilliant day. I made it to the gym, always a minor miracle, and then had Heather over for a lunch of butternut squash pizza before our class at 1. While at Sunflower market on State St, I wanted to purchase some bacon for the pizza but didn't want a whole package because, unlike my brothers I am not a bacon fiend. In the fresh meat section, I found applewood smoked bacon for $4/lb and I could buy however much I wanted. I was so stoked. And let me tell you, this bacon smells amazing and tastes as good as it smells. It added a lot to my pizza.
After class, Chan and I went exploring to Utah Lake. I had never been down there, which is strange considering I have lived only miles from it for almost 4yrs. We drove right out to where you launch the boats and we took a bunch of pics. I love taking pictures with people who have an artistic eye, like Chan because he can compose great pictures and get good angles. It was such a fun afternoon and the most gorgeous day. Then we went to Provo bakery for a snack, another place I had never been. It was tasty; I was not disappointed.

I spent most of my glorious Saturday with Paige and Kristen. At the end of the night we were in Paige's room hanging out and she told me about this blog that is the most fantastic discovery. It is called the Sartorialist and I can't believe I didn't know about this earlier. This talented photographer has worked in fashion for 15yrs and now focuses his energies on capturing real people wearing the stuff he worked for years to brand and sell. He travels to fashionable cities worldwide and takes inspiring pictures of people who have style. I got some great ideas from it. Sartorialist
Check out her outfit; classy and chic!

You and Paige are watching pusing daisies. And I want to be there!! But I'm trying to be good. Clearly it's working, since I'm sitting here reading about your life on your blog instead of actually hanging out with you :)
ReplyDeleteI love your blog entries. And Saturday was so lovely. Thanks for being so fun.
