Treasure Trove
I wanted to document the few things I scored at DI this week.
The goblets are fantastic for three reasons: the footed aspect, the etched letter (albeit undecipherable), and the gold rim. Also they were $1 each, so that also adds to their greatness. The yellow pumps were made for I.Magnin, a high-end dept. store from back in the day; I also have a few other prized items of I.Magnin origin.
And another addition to my already sizable vintage book stash, valued for its gold and blue binding details, and its interesting content (Two Years Before the Mast).
I hadn't stopped at DI in a while, and it looks like it had been waiting for me, with treasures abounding. I scored all these items for a mere $15, and I left a happy girl.

And for your next post, we would like to see a photo of you reading Two Years Before the Mast, wearing your I. Magnin shoes, while sipping champagne (err...sparkling cider) from your goblets.
ReplyDeleteNice finds Haley. HB's grandma worked at I.Magnin for a long time in SF.
