Kristen's Bday

Before I went home to hang out with Chan, the week was really crazy, but it was Kristen's birthday, and I had to throw her a little party, it was the only sensible thing to do. So we both invited a few choice individuals and I made a pumpkin cheesecake from the Julienne's cookbook, and browned butter brownies from Bon appetit. I enjoyed all the prep and seeing Kristen feel celebrated made it all worth it. Weekday parties are sometimes just the brief respite you need to rejuvenate your vigor.

Also, I got a comped blow-out at Shep salon, so I got to have smooth, done hair for the party. Always nice to have a little spoiling.
