I love seeing my friend's little boys grow up. Finn Lincoln Miller, son of Heather and Ryan Miller, just reached the ripe age of 2. Between the candy pumpkins and panda suit, he seemed to thoroughly enjoy himself. Even though he had trouble blowing out the big candle, his trusty parents were right there to take care of it. Heather's Mom, affectionately called Momio or Gigi, spared no expense in creating a lovely meal in a most pleasant atmosphere. My favorites were the heirloom tomato salad and cranberry pecan stuffing. I felt special to be there to celebrate his second birthday, because I missed his first. Jude stood by astutely observing any pieces of cake within his fist's reach. When Heath got her piece of pumpkin bundt cake, Jude hastily put his fist in the soft cream cheese frosting the first chance he got. Did I mention Jude is one of the only children I have ever encountered that makes me want to have kids? He's a beautiful specimen.
