Chins Up

Each of us creates his own universe. The universe to each is what each conceives of it. Your universe is small or large, important or insignificant, according to your dreams and your work, your thoughts and your knowledge.

Some men and women live in little worlds although they live in large houses; and some men and women live in large worlds although they own but a hut!

You can enlarge your world by reading, by studying, by making friends, by opening the door of your heart and the windows of your mind, by taking down the fence of selfishness, by reaching out to people and up to God.

This excerpt is from Mildred Seydell's book "Chins Up!" and I just adore it. And to be frank, I have decided to expand my universe and I AM returning to BYU for spring term. I will be there until June 21, and then I will fly to DC for 9 days. Upon my return I will drive home to California where I will help move into the Chateau and spend many days at the seashore.

Like Mildred advises, Chins Up! There is always reason to keep your chin up.
